Environmental Projects
Ever since I was little, I have been connected with ecological projects mainly on reforestation and recollecting trash. I planted my first tree when I was seven years old and subsequently participated in two projects with the organization “Reforestamos México,” planting trees with my family in 2016 and 2017 in “La Laguna Seca” in the skirts of “el Nevado de Toluca.”
In Vichada Colombia, I’m part of “Go Zero Go Green,” a circular economy project that looks to repair soils, forests, and support not only the environment, but also local communities and biodiversity. I have previously visited the reforestation farm “El Toro” and its forests, and last summer I worked in the company offices in Bogota. My dream is to continue contributing to this project and hopefully work there in the future.
